EMPIRES OF NOISE 2010

NACHTMAHR

„I only have one interest: i don't care if you live or die: I just wanna see you dance !“

This is the motto that made Thomas Rainer create his new musical project NACHTMAHR in 2007. After the Austrian artist has achieved worldwide success with L'AME IMMORTELLE and SIECHTUM in the past 11 years, he returns to his roots: the boiling dancefloors of industrial and goth clubs alike

Inspired by numerous years of Djing NACHTMAHR is the missing link between merciless and provocative Industrial and the hammering power of Techno.

The new EP "Mädchen in Uniform" dedicates a long overdue monument to the uniformed ladies of this world and will pave the way to the band's ultimate goal: TOTAL CLUB DOMINATION

UBERBYTE

UK sturm and drang stompers UBERBYTE rose from the ashes of the controversial industrial rock outfit Killing Miranda in late 2006. Newly rechristened with the enigmatic moniker "Uberman", KM's former vocalist quickly took Uberbyte to the stage, providing support to such heavy hitters as COMBICHRIST, Grendel, Hocico, The Cruxshadows, Panzer AG, KiEw, Die Krupps, XP8, Straftanz and Faderhead, becoming an almost overnight sensation in the flourishing, revitalized UK industrial scene.

Uberbyte are at their core, a mixture of the old and new school of industrial, pumping out enough pile driving, slam dunking power for any dancefloor while at the same time being capable of throwing out lean, distinctive, melodic material with a dark, twisted sense of humor.

Reviews of DOS so far :

"On ‘DOS’, Sheffield natives Uberbyte have showed themselves to be one of the most exciting and relevant bands on the UK Industrial scene with this record." Sphere Magazine (UK)

"With [DOS] they have chosen a clear line and style; harsh industrial, good song writing and a strong concept" - Summerdarkness.nl (holland)

"this disc called [DOS] has quite some potential for the clubs" -Gothtronic (holland)

"This is musical entertainment for those of a darker bent, but not too dark to preclude having a sense of humour"- Connexion Bizzare (portugal)

"Uberbyte is firing on all cylinders and Crunch Pod has a pretty big hit on their hands. It's going to be difficult to get through a club night this year without hearing at least one track off this album" - Darktwincities.com (US)

" ”Say What?”, “Dissect”, and “Ich Will Tanzen” highlight this album which you will be sure to hear on industrial dancefloors" - 5SKULLZ.com (US)

"Taking the best from the old school and cleverly mixing with new ideas, UberByte truly redesigns Electro EBM with modern style, renewed energy and improving rhythmic dynamics, cleaning the genre of what is unnecessary and adapting for future ruminations." Heathen Harvest (US)

"their songs are among the most ingenious the scene currently has to offer." - Elektrauma.de (germany)

"while remaining damned heavy, Uberbyte have made quite a bit of progress... “DOS” certainly surpasses their debut" Side Line (belgium)

"I would even go so far as to say that I an affirmed non-dancer couldn't help but sway to the fascinating rhythms in 'DOS'. For the music connaisseur there is even lots of hidden technical sound gadgetry waiting to be discovered" (U)selinks webzine (germany)

Soma  by  uberbyte

Following up their surprise hit debut "SIC", the UK's confrontational industrialists Uberbyte are now ready to unleash their follow-up, titled "DOS," on Crunch Pod.
DOS maintains Uberbyte's penchant for hook driven songwriting, this time with a darker, grittier edge. It also sees the band emerge from a whirpool of influences into something altogether more realized and mature. On the new disc, the band's central recording hub and main clubwrecker, also known as Uberman, remarked:
"With SIC we announced ourselves, but DOS goes a quantum level beyond that. We're still all about songs and hooks but this time we got down to showing some more teeth, a bit more of the kind of aggression and groove we have live. It was a blast to make too-- lots of fun and that's what really counts to us."
Uberbyte remains, at their core, a mixture of the old and new school of industrial, pumping out enough pile driving, slam dunking power for any dancefloor while at the same time being capable of throwing out lean, distinctive, melodic material with a dark, twisted sense of humor.
Get ready to be Uberbyte's industrial bitch.
